In honor of our mother, Rebecca M. Cohan, LICSW, please consider making a gift to the Simmons University School of Social Work to help establish the Rebecca M Cohan '72MSW Endowed Scholarship.
Our mother left an indelible legacy of love, support, mentorship, and activism that we must memorialize for those who'll never have the privilege to know her, and for all of us who miss her so dearly. We could not think of a better way to do this than to establish a fund in her name that will forever assist underrepresented students in gaining social work training to help improve lives and communities, and fight for social justice and equity. Teaching, mentorship, and peer support were such integral parts of our mother's life, we know that establishing this scholarship in her name is exactly what she would have wanted.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 by June 30, 2022 so that students can receive support every year into the future.
Please join us in honoring our mother's legacy, and her commitment to anti-racism, representation, and the ever-important field of mental health. We invite you to help us establish the Rebecca M Cohan '72MSW Endowed Scholarship to support underrepresented students in the field of social work at her alma mater, Simmons University School of Social Work.
